RaVae EricksonUse the garden hose to clean out the paint roller, paint brushes and paint tray. Yes, naysayers, I said to use the garden hose, which means you will be doing this outside! But, would you rather have the paint go into your drinking water? Because when you pour it down the drain that is where it ends up….or you could water your lawn or flowers with it….
1) Make sure you have an end attachment for your hose (this both saves water and creates a strong, steady stream).
2) Leave the paint roller attached to the handle
3) Spray away! This technique leaves the paint roller nearly dry and completely clean and ready for re-use! Amazing!
And since you have the hose out already just use it to clean the brushes and tray.
4) rinse down the area so o paint remains on the plants.
