1) People think I’m fat! No, seriously, people think I’m fat. I’ve never experienced this before, and it sucks! Straight up, hard-core sucks!
2) People think they can say whatever they want to me and then blame my perfectly normal, sane reaction on my pregnancy hormones. It annoys the crap out of me! I just started saying the exact same thing back to people and then when they have the same reaction I do, I tell them that I don’t appreciate them telling me that any more than they appreciate me telling them the same thing. I would really like to know why people think it is ok to say stupid crap to pregnant women.
3) When people tell me my whole world is going to change after Little Girl gets here. Um, DUH! Do you think I’m retarded and haven’t thought this through? Do you really think I don’t KNOW that?
4) When people tell me what I should and should not be eating because I am pregnant. Especially MALE people. Especially MALE people who have never had a kid….drives me CRAZY!
5) When people tell me that I can eat whatever I want, or that I’m eating for two, or ask how it feels to be able to eat whatever I want. I CAN’T FREAKING EAT WHATEVER I WANT. YOU can eat whatever you want. I CAN’T. I CAN’T eat sushi. I CAN’T eat lunch meat (which I LOVE by the way!). I CAN’T eat feta cheese (which I LOVE by the way!). I CAN’T eat so many other things that I LOVE, and you CAN. So NO, I CAN’T eat whatever I want. Oh, and I only need 300 extra calories a day. 300, not 3,000. I have to eat even more healthy than I have ever done before, and oftentimes I just don’t feel like it.
6) When people tell me what I should and should not be doing because I am pregnant. I am the pregnant one, not you. I am the one who feels my body and my baby, not you. I am the one who knows my limits, not you. If you don’t agree with me, get over it! I have done the research, and I have talked to MY Dr. I don’t give a crap what your Dr. or your pregnancy book says. I have looked up actual research articles, with the real numbers, and have done the math using those numbers. Have you? No, then don’t comment on what I do or don’t do just because I am pregnant.
7) Not sleeping well.
8) Weird dreams. I mean seriously weird dreams.
9) Having people tell me that I’m really small for 7 months. Nope, I am normal for me, get over it!
10) When all people talk about with me is Baby Girl. I DO think about other things you know! 🙂
I love that you are willing to share anything and everything. I have had a lot of these feelings, but I am a wuss and never shared them. Love you girl! You look amazing. xoxo
