RaVae EricksonToday was the finale snowshoe, and let me tell you, it was a BLAST!
We didn’t hike as far as we had thought we would, but we still made it to our destination! The lake was simply GORGEOUS! Very cold and windy, but gorgeous nonetheless. I will have to post pictures when I move them off the camera. We walked pretty slow today, but we had plenty of picture taking opportunities (unlike normal…usually we take pictures at the beginning and the end if we are lucky!)! We had fun, and that is all that counts. 🙂
We snowshoed a total of 5 miles today and raised over $4,000! Of that, $3,000 will go to fund research for new drugs to fight all blood cancers as well as help out those who are currently fighting it. The whole Snowshoe team raised over $40,000 for this awesome cause! And we saw acres upon acres of beautiful Colorado in the process.
