Four days until the LLS Snowshoe in RMNP. Four days and I am NOT ready for it yet. Four days to prepare. Four days to hope I can make it the 6.2 miles. Four days to hydrate, eat healthy, and work out. Four days. I feel so unprepared. What was I thinking two weeks ago when I didn’t get up to work out in the morning? What was I thinking when I didn’t make time to work out?
Alright, I am overreacting, I’ll admit it. But there is some merit to my concerns. I really don’t feel prepared for it. However, there is nothing I can think of to prepare myself for the Event Snowshoe other than working out every day this week, drinking water (and staying off the soda pop), and getting plenty of rest (aka SLEEPING at night instead of rolling around wishing I was sleeping!). I’m quite sure that with all of this I will be as prepared as I can be on Saturday morning.
Until then I guess that is what I will continue to do.
